The servomotor has the pole shoes (3) of its electromagnets (2) orientated radially. The rotor (10) has a ferromagnetic pole ring (12) facing the radial pole shoes. The toothed wheels (9, 16) and the poles of the electromagnetics and the pole ring (14) lie on a conical surface. The toothed wheels of the stator (1) and rotor (10) are located in a radial plane. The pole ring and the pole shoes are located in a radial plane near the apex of the conical surface, the apex of which is at the centre of the rotor bearing.
