PURPOSE:To control a system so that only the unit where error has occurred may receive the transfer dependent upon retry, by supplying a signal discriminating retry to the transfer destination units in the retry system of bus transfer. CONSTITUTION:Unit 4 transfers information to units 5 and 6. Unit 5 which received information correctly starts the processing. When bus controller 1 becomes aware that unit 6 received information erroneously by signal line 7, unit 4 assignes units 5 and 6 and retries transfer as well as issues a retry indication signal to signal line 3. At this time, unit 5 is aware of retry and does not receive information, but only unit 6 receives information. |
