<p>Thiocarbamate derivs. of formula R3O-A-S.CZ.NR1R2 (I) are new. In (I), R1 and R2 are each 1-4C alkyl, alkenyl or alkynyl, is not >6C cycloalkyl, or NR1R2 is an opt. alkyl substd. heterocycle which may include an additional O or opt. alkylated N atom. One of R1 and R2 may also be H; R3 is 1-12C alkyl, alkenyl (opt. substd. by Cl or >=1 double bonds) or alkynyl, is not >6C cycloalkyl, R4O(CH2)m or (II), (III) or (IV); R4 is 1-8C alkyl, alkenyl or alkynyl; m is 2-8; p is 1,3 or 4; Q is lower alkyl or alkenyl (opt. Cl-substd. on the double bond), phenyl, benzyl, lower alkoxy, alkenyloxy, alkylcarbonyl, alkoxycarbonyl or alkoxyalkyl, opt. substd. phenoxy CN,NO2, Cl or Br; q is 0 or 1; r is 1-3 and Q's can be different when r >=2, or two Q's form methylenedioxy; A is 2-12C alkylene, alkenylene or alkynylene opt. substd. by lower alkyl and opt. interrupted by O or S, and Z is O or S. (I) are prepd. e.g. by reacting R3O.A.SH with R1R2.NCZ.Cl. (I) are useful as insecticides and acaricides. Activity is illustrated against Dysdercus fasciatus, Aphis fabae, Tetranychus urticae and Boophilus microplus.</p> |
