Roof covering layer - with upper elastomer and lower fibre mat reinforced thermoplastic layer

A cover layer for roof sealing panels consists of an upper layer of weather resistant partly or fully crosslinked rubber and a lower layer of an organic fibre mat. reinforcing a thermoplastic layer. The end pieces of the web have a strip of 4-10cm width which is free from the top elastomer layer for easier sealing to the next web. This saves the use of gravel or chippings on bitumen and can be used at any roof angle. It has also a longer life.
