PURPOSE:To provide sufficient capacity against a load by a compact inverter by always feeding power to load via the inverter and by switching it to commercial power supply when an overcurrent flows through the load. CONSTITUTION:Power is supplied always to a load 3 via an inverter 1. When an overcurrent flows through the load 3, a switch 2 is operated via a controller 6 to supply the power from a commercial power supply 4 to the load 3. The inverter 1 is broken or idled simultaneously when the commercial power supply 4 is, for example, switched. If the current is broken in the inverter 1, it is self-recovered for standby state after the switch 2 is switched to the commercial power supply side. Then, when the load current is lowered below the rated value, the switch 2 is recovered to the inverter 1 side. |
