Offshore single buoy for fluid transfer - with buoyancy section under water-line and joined to tanker by pivoted rigid boom
摘要

The single buoy mooring system for oil tankers has the buoyancy chamber at the top of a rigid pipe pivotted on the anchor block and holding the chamber at a set depth. The transfer pipe is rigid and pivotted on the chamber to lie under the water surface until raised and coupled to a tanker. When not used the whole system is deep enough under the water surface to prevent fouling ships. The only surface indication is a marker buoy linked to the buoyancy chamber by a flexible line.
