The heat collector panel for a solar heating system has an element (10) made from two sheets (14) welded together through which the heat exchange medium circulates. Above it is a glass plate (11), leaving a space (17) between. Both these members are enclosed by a strip (12) of silicon rubber, and can be attached by an adhesive. The strip includes a recess (15) to hold a hygroscopic material (18). In another design these elements are clamped together by a resilient clamp around the outside, holding them against an insulation layer underneath.
