The support for correcting the spine as in the main patent, has a number cross embers (48, 50, 52, 54) interconnected with each other and with a vertical member (44) acting as a leaf spring. All the components are plastics mouldings. - The lower edge of a cross member has a T shaped connector (85) which fits into the opening in a rectangular strap (88) in the upper edge of the cross member below forming a hinged connection. Each cross member has a peg (56) in the middle, extending rearwards to plug into a hole in the leaf spring behind. The peg has a bulbous head.
