The process is in two stages with the first entailing filling the hole with irregular blocks (7). The blocks (7) can be of precast concrete or natural rock e.g. granite. The second stage entails introducing a cold setting mixture (10) into the interstices between the rocks (7) or blocks. The mixture is of a semi-liquid or a liquid synthetic resin and a charge i.e. an agent promoting the setting of the resin. The setting of the material (10) can be accelerated or allowed to occur naturally. |
