<p>The hopper is for granular material or one tending to cake, and forming bridges, having a loosening mechanism in teh vicinity of the outlet at least. This mechanism comprises vanes, baffle plates or similar rigid components (5), suspended from the top part (24) of the hopper, and which can be lifted part of the way in opposition to a return force, typically a ballast weight (6). The vanes can be suspended by expanding hoses (7) supplied with a medium under pressure, and whose length alters in inverse proportion to their clear width.</p> |
