There is a hand lever on the operating handle, esp. for window frames, with a neck form-locking onto a square piece for a closing unit, and rotatably mounted in a guide socket on a plate fitted on the window, with a series of cutouts on the rear, engaged under spring loading by protrusions on a locking disc fitted on the neck. The locking disc (40) has attachments facing radially inwards, seated so as to be axially displaceable in recesses (50) in a ring (48). The ring is connected to the guide socket (32) by the neck end (18) so that there is no axial play. This provides secure handle mounting, with no outwardly visible locking elements, and it is simply and easily mounted.
