Continuous honeycomb grid material prodn. - using non-metallic foil strip impregnated with thermosetting plastics and shaped by endless heated double link chain

The prodn. method is for a continuous honeycomb grid made from six cornered honeycomb structure of non-metallic foil using foil strips glued together and cut from the original foil material. The production process includes the uniform drawing off a roll of foil impregnated with a thermosetting plastic by a pair of rollers. A sling of foil material is then made from which material is removed by an endless heated double link chain and formed into a profiled material band having the cross section of a six edge honeycomb half.
