PURPOSE:To make it possibel to reduce noises generated on a recording medium, and to make high-fidelity regeneration possible by analog-converting and recording digital signals after compression, and by regenerating them through the reverse operations. CONSTITUTION:An input analog signal after A/D conversion 8 is arithmetic-processed by arithmetic circuit 9, which is controlled by the output of integrating circuit 10, and its compressed output is recorded on medium 4 after D/A conversion 11. The playback signal from medium 4 is A/D-converted 12, and then expanding arithmetic process 13 complementary to the compression is done, so that the output will be sent out via D/A converter 15. |
