Production of a mean inner diameter on rings - during processing on ring rolling mills

The function of the measured value of the inner diameter varies periodically by a mean value which increases relatively slowly. In the vicinity of two successive extreme values of this function, the relevant values of the inner diameter are stored and the mean value of two such successive stored values is continuously formed.
