It is known to use inhalation devices having a dosage dispensing unit which dispenses a liquid propellant. In this invention, The inhalation device utilizes carbon dioxide as propellant and is intended to be used for inhalation of pharmacologically active substances through an outlet. The propellant dispensing unit has a top chamber connected to a propellant container and a bottom chamber having a dosing chamber and a valve member. The valve member is arranged such that it may provide a passage between the dosing chamber and either the top chamber of the dispensing unit or the propellant discharge passage. |
