<p>NEW MATERIAL:A disazo compound shown by the formula I:(X is H or nitro; Y is H, nitro, or methyl). EXAMPLE:A compound shown by the formula II. USE:Clear yellow organic pigments for coating compounds, printing inks, crayons, colors and coloring of fibers, or plastics, having improved solvent resistance and tinting strength. PRODUCTION:The disazo compound is obtained by the coupling of terephthaloyldiacetanilide shown by the formula III with a diazo compound of an aniline derivative shown by the formula IV.</p> |
