<p>PURPOSE:To provide the construction of not providing pitch pins by providing grooves on top of string bearing crests and stopping the strings stretched. CONSTITUTION:Engaging grooves 27 which are approximately orthogonal to the stretching direction of strings 26, incline to the tuning pin 24 side and curve in the pin 24 direction are provided to the top face of the string bearing crests 25 of a frame 20. The need for any pitch pin is eliminated and the occurrence of any change in the effective string length of each string such as the case of using the pitch pins is prevented. As a result, the disconnection of the strings may be prevented, whereby the string life may be improved and the sound quality improved without the occurrence of any beats. The construction which permits easier and surer assembling as compared to the construction of using pitch pins may be provided.</p> |
