PURPOSE:To prevent the wrinkle of a stainless steel balustrade for a man conveyor from bending by providing curved surface of larger curvature than the fundamental curvature R1 of the balustrade at both sides of the curvature R1. CONSTITUTION:Circular curved portion formed with larger radius of curvature than that of the circular curved portion of main balustrade portion of a man conveyor is provided at both sides of the curved portion with a deformation preventive piece 9a perforated with a hole of length M1 toward the inside of the circumferential surface g3 of a main deck 9. Then main deck 9 is the surved portion having fundamental circle of radius R1 of curvature (outer periphery) and radus R2 of curvature (inner periphery) with curved portion of larger radius R4 of curvature than the R1 arranged at both sides in the zone D. The size of the R4 is preferably approx. 2 to 5 times of the R1. The piece 9a has over 1.5 times of the thickness t projected.
