PURPOSE:To facilitate replacement of a dry battery by oscillatably supporting a cover at the supporting part provided at the rear of the lower end of a receiving container and enabling the cover to be fastened to the receiving container through forward or backward movement thereof when the container is closed. CONSTITUTION:When a dry battery is replaced, if the user pull a handle 38 forwardly, fastening projections 33-36 on a cover 30 which were fastened by fastening projections on a receiving container 20 come off so that the cover also comes off and the front side of the cover 30 goes down, and the cover 30 oscillates about supporting projections 27, 28 of the receiving container 20 as the axis and is moved backward to open an opening 20a. A consumed battery is take out through the opening 20a of the receiving container 20 and a new battery is inserted into the receiving container 20. Then, when the cover 30 is pull up forwardly to close the opening 20a, the cover 30 is biased and moved backward and fastened to the receiving container 20. Therefore, the cover 30 is fastened and will not be opened. Thus, the dry battery can be replaced very easily. |
