PURPOSE:To eliminate the irregular flow stream into a propeller by radiating ultrasonic wave into water stream from the side of the stern of a ship to equalize the stern flow stream. CONSTITUTION:Ultrasonic wave is radiated from the opening 8 of an ultrasonic wave generator 9 in a hull of a ship in the vicinity of the separating line 5 of vortex 1 or flow separation generating position in the propeller inflow portion at the stern of the ship to mix and agitate the stern flow stream so as to constrain the occurrence of vortex in order to eliminate the irregular flow stream. |
