<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate any short pass of hot gas, by forming an inner pipe through consecutive welding of funnel shaped inner pipe units. CONSTITUTION:A certain length of inner pipe 2 is put in an outer pipe 1, being welded only by a portion 2'. Projections 9 of inner pipe units 3 continuously inserted inside the inner pipe 2 are welded to the inner pipe 2, and junctures 11 are fitted in inside plates 7 of the adjacent inner pipe units 3 to absorb the thermal expansion of the inner pie units 3. The projection 9 of an adjacent inner pipe unit 3 comes above a stepped portion 10 of another inner pipe unit 3, thus a long inner pipe is being formed by many inner pipe units 3, which eliminates any leak of hot gas due to the weldings 12.</p> |
