PURPOSE:To improve the generating effects of a recording medium by forming a discharge passage from a recording medium chamber through the wall of the medium chamber which is equipped with volume varying means of the medium chamber. CONSTITUTION:If a recording medium is supplied to a recording head 11, it flows out through a passage 12. In order that the redording medium stored in its chamber 14 may be discharge from a discharge orifice 15, impulses of suitable frequency are fed through lead electrodes 21 and 22 to an electric-mechanical converter 16. When this converter vibrates, the wall 17 itself of the medium chamber 14 including a discharge passage 13 is vibrated so that the recording medium is effectively cut, when it is discharged from the orifice 15, by the mechanical force resulting from those vibrations. Thus, the generating efficiency of the recording medium droplets can be improved. Moreover, sufficient follow can be ensured even if the frequency of the electric impulses is increased. |
