Dye salt of formula (I) is new: It forms solns. which are miscible with water in all proportions and can be used to prepare dye baths. It can also be used in printing pastes. Solns. contain, e.g. 15-50% of (I). Solvents are e.g. linear or cyclic carboxamides, glycols and glycolethers, etc. (I) can be prepd. by reacting the free acid with dibutylethanolamine.
