Biological sewage aeration basin - with impeller on bridge providing intense aeration and motive power

<p>A biological sewage treatment uses a circular basin with a revolving bridge from the centre to the rim which carries an aeration impeller. The aerator has a greater distance from the centre of the basin than half the radius of the basin. A curved guide plate is arranged between the aerator and the basin centre. Basins with a large radius are thus aerated very efficiently. The function can be adapted to different working conditions by adjusting the depth of the guide plate and/or aerator.</p>
