<p>The optical projection system, for aiding the insertion of components into printed circuit boards, projects light from a laser onto wanted positions on the board. The optical system has two mirrors or lenses (8, 9) pivoting about two orthogonal axes. One of the mirrors or lenses oscillates about a settable zero point. Any point on the board can be illuminated simply by setting the angles of the mirrors or lenses there is no need for a transparency template.</p> |
