Edge marking device for index cards - includes at least five movable punches to cut set pattern of notches

Marking device applies filing indicators to the edge of index cards. Several movable punches (3) cut notches into the edge of the index card. The cutting of a notch at the edge is prevented during the hole punching process. The device consists of at least five stamps which are made to cut semi-circular notches or U-shaped notches but other shapes are also possible. The marking device is equipped with stops which permit the insertion of the cards for copying the marking.
