Easily fitted connector exercises a rivet effect to attach insulating material to thin dismountable caps of armatures. The connector consists of a wire (1) which is compressed to a rivet head (2) at one side and to a point (5) at the other side. Notches (3) are located on the upper part of the wire (1) and a sleeve (4) is slid over that section. The form, colour and material of the connector may be adapted to the requirements of the surface on which it is used, with the type of material bearing high stress and yet capable of being bent after fitting of the insulating material. The formation of the head provides a rain seal for the bore hole and is therefore corrosion resistant.
