[Also in Division B1] A heat exchange screw reactor comprises a drum 101 rotatably mounted in a jacket 104 for heat exchange medium and having rotatably mounted therein a pipe 119 for heat exchange medium. The annular reaction zone defined between the drum and the pipe has a screw 103 rotatably mounted therein. Said rotatable parts may have flanges 102, 121 and a pulley 126 whereby they may be independently rotated.
