The electronic flash (FL) is used for a photographic camera with an exposure control circuit responsive to the selected exposure, the film sensitivity, the shutter diaphragm setting and the brightness of the subject. The flash tube is ignited by discharging a main capacitor and the flash is extinguished when the measured value of the reflected light from the subject reaches a preset level. A flash synchronisation exposure setting device comprises a circuit for setting the camera exposure time independent of the exposure information upon closure of a current switch (S1) for the electronic flash, so that the exposure time is determined by the flash duration. |
