PURPOSE:To prepare a synthetic resin lace having appealing design and free from burrs at the openings, by applying an engraved roll having roughened engraved surface and polished non-engraved surface with a thermoplastic resin, and heating and gelling the resin. CONSTITUTION:A thermoplastic resin is supplied to the surface of an engraved roll 1 by a resin feeder 4, excess resin is removed with a doctor 5 thereby filling the engraved parts 2 of the roll with the resin, and the resin in the engraved part is heated and gelled at the heating section 6, and peeled off at the peeling section 7 to obtain the synthetic resin lace. The engraved parts of the roll has roughened surface, while non-engraved surface thereof is polished. EFFECT:The edge of the opening can be formed clear-cut. |
