PURPOSE:To position a shadow mask accurately by fitting a spring piece with protrusions directly to the mask without providing a support frame to the shadow mask and by setting them into depressions of a support pin implanted into the panel. CONSTITUTION:Spring piece 48 with protrusions, fitted to the outside of edge 47 of shadow mask 5, is set into the depression of support pin 49 implanted into panel 41. Namely, support pin 49 is provided with depression 50 which has notches 55 and 56 and concave groove 57 supporting the free edge flank of spring 48, and spring piece 48 inserted into it is provided with protrusions 53 and 54 to be set into notches 55 and 56 provided to support pin 49. To set spring piece 48 and pin 49 next, knobs 51 and 52 fromed on spring piece 48 are pushed from both the side to make narrow the interval between protrusions 53 and 54 of spring piece 48, and in this state, spring piece 48 is pushed into support pin 49 and the pushing is released, is released, thereby setting protrusions 53 and 54 into notches 55 and 56. |
