PURPOSE:To heat and dry steel balls or ferromagnetic particles at high heat efficiency and uniformly by passing particle sticked steel balls taken out of electromagnetic filters thorugh an induction heater with a conveyer. CONSTITUTION:An electromagnetic filter apparatus consists of an electromagnetic filter 10 and a steel ball regenerator 12. A screw conveyer 66 is installed coaxially in an induction furnace 60 and transfers steel balls 26 in a hopper 58 to the end of the conveyer 66. A screen plate 70 is fitted to the opening at the bottom of the furnace 60 near the end of the conveyer 66 and only the particles separated from the steel balls 26 are filtered through the plate 70 and fall into a dust container 72 below. An endless conveyer 74 is installed at the end of the conveyer 66 to carry out the coming out cleaned steel balls 26 and the carried out steel balls 26 are then returned to a regenerated steel ball hopper 40 by a recovery conveyer. |
