<p>The anti theft device for a vehicle uses a contact controlled by a magnet in an electronic circuit which permits, or prevents, the vehicle being driven. The contact (1) is placed behind a vehicle body panel (T) near a small magnet (2). When a second magnet (3) is brought near the other face of the panel, the first magnet is moved towards the contact to operate it. The contact is a reed switch influenced by an adjacent magnetic field.</p> |
