The fixture to attach a stowage tie to a vehicle structure consists of a buckle through which the tie extends. The buckle (1) is made of strong wire bent to form a part to attach the tie. Bearing sleeves (3, 4) in each relieve one end of the wire. The bearing axes can be parallel or non parallel. The wire end extends right through the bearings and are then bent over. The wire can be bent into a closed shape, both ends lodging in a bearing.
