<p>A water-soluble saccharin compsn. is prepd. by reacting acid saccharin with a cpd. contg. non-toxic Ca ions, to form a crystalline saccharin Ca salt. The salt or salt mixt. obtd. can be worked to pills and tablets. Sweetening power of saccharin is retained. In the body, Ca present can be utilised by tissues and bone structure, to overcome Ca deficiency.</p> |
