Time digit for time setting was selected and charged freely and other needed signals were generated together with the time setting signal. One line of each direction of a matrix circuit was selected by a time scan circuit and a channel scan circuit. The device had a decoder which generates a time digit signal without relation to the line connection of the matrix circuit. At the designated set time, a time setting signal and other needed signals were generated automatically.
