PURPOSE:To reduce the size and cost of container of piezo-oscillator by forming metal conductive lead film up to the end face of sheet glass. CONSTITUTION:A metal conductive lead film 18 is vacuum-deposited on a sheet glass 17 having a concave part, extending up to the end face thereof. At this time, in order to prevent breakage of film 18, a slanted face 17a or an arc is provided at the edge part of glass 17. Thus constructed container of piezo-oscillator permits easy wiring of, for instance, electrode take-out lead wire 22 from the film 18 provided at the end face of glass 17, or is capable of joining a crystal oscillator circuit directly or by way of a spring. |
