The hinge comprises a pin (4) and a sleeve (8) on an 'L' section plate (14, 15). The pin (4) has a diametrically projecting screw (6) by which it is fixed to the frame (20), and the sleeve plate is morticed into a rebatted (12, 15) door edge so as not to impinge on the groove (11) housing the seal. The legs (14, 15) of the plate may be morticed flush into the respective perpendicular faces of the rebate with a shaped spacer block (11) over the outer leg (14) maintaining the groove profile. The pin screw (6) may be utilised to vary the degree that the seal (21) is compressed.
