The fire fighting sprinkler head opens automatically when the ambient temperature is raised. It comprises a water inlet body (1), closed by a plug (5). Two arms (3a) for m an arc and join at the top (3c), a clip being inserted into the opening to hold the plug. This clip comprises a metal arm (12 and stay (11), retained by a screw (30) and holding two metal strips (16, 17). These strips are bonded by a thermofusible layer (18) between them and retain arm and stay. When the bonding layer melts, the elasticity of the system ejects the arm and stay and the spray operates.
