The servo drive for the car seat slider has a worm drive to a main drive gear via a torque limiting a clutch (28). This prevents damage to the motor if the sliding action is impeded such as when luggage is stacked behind the seat or when the maximum adjustment is reached. The cluth has two plates (23, 27) which are interlocked by plastics gear teeth. When the torque reaches at set level then one of the plates is displaced axially and teeth slide over each other.
