<p>The traffic warning system is installed at the intersection of two roads. Therefore, four pneumatic tubes mounted in the road surface. One of the tubes is fitted in each section of road. Four pneumatic contactors associated with the tubes are connected by cable to an automatic control system contained in four roadside cabinets. At the crossroads are fixed four triangular illuminated road signs indicating 'Danger Collision'. Vehicles passing over the pneumatic tubes actuate display of the warning signs.</p> |
