The seed sowing machine has a sowing tube from which the seeds are discharged from a hopper (18) on top, above the large diameter cutting drum (6). The discharge point is between this drum and a breaker roller (36). Between the drum and the sowing tube is a baffle plate (28, 30). Between the sowing tube and the breaker roller is a second baffle plate. These baffle plates can be height and slope adjusted. Each plate consists of a fixed part and an adjustable part attached to it. The distance between the discharge point and these baffles can be varied.
