PURPOSE:To get rid of any section where liquid feeding cannot be done, despite a single plunger pump by separating a chamber in which a plunger is reciprocated, into a main chamber and a sub chamber, and installing each check in an inlet and an outlet of a flow passage of the main chamber. CONSTITUTION:A chamber 2 is separated into a main chamber 2a at the tip side of a plunger 4 and a sub chamber 2b at the base end side by a sealing member 6. Likewise a check valve 8 is installed in an inlet of a flow passage of the main chamber 2a, and another check valve 19 is installed in the outlet. In addition, a flow passage 12 leading to this check valve 10 is connected to an inlet of the sub chamber 2b. On the other hand, the plunger 4 is formed of its tip part 4a thicker in diameter but its base end part 4b thinner in diameter, respectively. Then a diametral changed part 4c of the plunger 4 is set up in the sub chamber 2b, and a range of reciprocation of the plunger 4 regulates the drive so as to prevent this changed part 4c from going out of the inside of the sub chamber 2b. |
