A bent metal plate (1) is non-detachably connected to a flat plate (2) by means of plastic strips (7, 8). In order to produce this connection, the two parts (1 and 2) are inserted into an injection tool in a secured position. During the injection process, the plastic is deposited in the form of strips along the parts (1, 2) and also penetrates into holes (5, 6) which are arranged in the parts (1, 2). The connection is suitable for large-scale production and has the advantage that the connected parts need not be aligned subsequently. In addition, the transmission of body sound from one part to the other (1, 2) is attenuated. The connection is predominantly used in the construction of machine frameworks. <IMAGE>
