PURPOSE:To enhance stability of electrification stability of a toner and the speed of its rising, to prevent change of image density at the time of successive copying, and to reduce fog and stains in a copying machine by fixing fine metal oxide particles having an average particle diameter of 0.01 - 5mum to the surfaces of chargeable toner particles into one body. CONSTITUTION:The fine metal oxide particles having an average particle diameter of 0.01 - 5mum are fixed to the surfaces of chargeable toner particles into one body. If the diameter is smaller than the lower limit, the rising speed is made deficient, and if larger than the upper limit, deterioration of image quality, such as fog resistance and resolution, occurs, the metal oxide particles are added in an amount of 0.1 - 10wt.%, especially, 0.1 - 5wt.% of the electrophotographic toner, thus permitting the obtained developer to be superior in electrification stability and rising characteristics and reduced in the change of image density at the time of successive copying, fog, and stains in the machine. |
