Bonding agent foaming device has a pump which serves as a mixing pump with an output of 40m to increase the vol. of the agent in excess of 20%, the pump being followed by a stabilising of the agent/air mixt. takes place. Pref. the pump has separate inlets for the agent and air and the pump is capable of fivefold air intake w.r.t. bonding agent intake. Outlet of pump is connected to the stabilising chamber which is provided with an inlet nozzle to intensify ght flow into the chamber which is provided with 9 spaced perforated baffle plates interconnected by longitudinally extending spacers to form a mixing basket. The chamber is followed by a quiescent chamber whose outlet is connected to an applicator. A number of stabilising chambers may be arranged in series. Used for bonding wood chips for chipboard, hardboard or plywood mfr. The mixt., which can be transported, has a pot-life of >2 hrs. and its structure is maintained until application.
