PURPOSE:To confirm the validity of residual data by reading an overflow flag registered together with data and deciding whether an overflow exists or not, at the time of reading printable and displaceable data registered in a conversion value store area, and reading an output position from an output format, when the overflow is generated. CONSTITUTION:At the time of reading printable and displaceable data stored in a conversion value store area 40 by a converting means 10, an editing means 20 reads an overflow flag 41 registered together with data and decides whether an overflow exists or not. Also, when the overflow is generated, an output position is read from an output data definition body 62, a symbol for displaying a fact that the overflow is generated is added to a head of the output position of the data and it is stored in an output format record store area 50 together with the data. Subsequently, an output means 30 prints or displays the output format record 50 on an output device 80. In such a way, the validity related to residual data continued from overflow generation data can be confirmed. |
