<p>The sports shoe is espec. for use as a running shoe for use on hard surfaces, such as roads. The sole (1) of the shoe, in the area (5) of the heel and ball of the foot, is more flexible than the remaining part (5) of the inside of the ball of the foot. The two areas (5, 6) are separately by a straight dividing line (7) which runs from the inside of the heel part (9) to the outer ball area (8). The sole (1) of the shoe in those parts (5, 6) of varying flexibility is made up of harder and softer material. The harder part is thicker than the more flexible part. The flexible part is made up of a plastics foam wedge, inserted between the tread and the welt.</p> |
