<p>There is a base unit with guiding holes for a drill, in the appliance for drilling holes in workpieces which are to be plugged. This unit is U-shaped in cross-section, and fitted with two or more centering plates which can be turned and arrested. Each has two diametrally opposed centering lugs. The end of one lies in the same plane (4) as the ends of the base units side shanks, while the end of the other protrudes beyond it. The guiding holes fitted with drill sockets, are aligned with the axes of the plates. This ensures that drill holes are precisely centred, and enables holes to be drilled at any distance from a plank edge.</p> |
