Case closure for electrolytic capacitors - has insulating, hard elastic bottom with disc rivet used as terminal connected to capacitor

The capacitor construction has a cylindrical metal case into which a cover disc is inserted as a bottom surface. A terminal is inserted in the disc and is connected inside to the capacitor element. The cover disc (4) is made of a permanently elastic and relatively hard material. The terminal (7) is made using a disc rivet whose disc (8) rests on the inside of the cover disc assembly with a clearance from the case (1) determined only by insulation requirements.
